The Bender subsidiaries ebee smart technologies GmbH in Berlin and ebee Engineering GmbH in Dresden will be renamed as of 30 April 2024. ebee smart technologies GmbH thus becomes Bender Smart Charging GmbH and ebee Engineering GmbH is renamed Bender Engineering GmbH.
Bender GmbH & Co. KG is the world's leading provider of solutions that make electrical systems smarter and safer. The renaming marks a strategic step for the further integration of the two subsidiaries into the Bender Group. While Bender Smart Charging GmbH will focus on electromobility and concentrate on the development of software for the Bender product portfolio of charge controllers in the eMobility business unit, Bender Engineering GmbH will take on a wide range of tasks, including the development of numerous Bender products in the industrial and hospital sectors, as well as the hardware and software development and testing of charge controllers for the eMobility sector.
The proven and long-standing collaboration will now be continued with a view to even greater integration into the processes in order to drive forward joint projects, exchange ideas and continue to learn from each other.

ebee Engineering GmbH, based in Dresden, develops electrical devices and safety solutions for applications in all market segments of the Bender Group. The company was founded in 2020 as part of the takeover of TechniSat's Dresden development site and was integrated into the Bender Group as part of this process.
